Absolutely! I get asked this question a lot, so I thought I should answer in a separate post.
It is common knowledge that if you want to straighten afro hair you should use a hot straightening iron. This method is able to tame even the wildest of hairs and the styling lasts for quite a long time. However, there is a downfall to that. If used frequently, it might damage hair.
So, I do recommend using a rotating hot air brush, especially if you are planning to style your hair daily.
There are a few good rotating hot air brush options available:

Here are a few styling tips:
- You should wash hair and apply a good conditioner or hair mask
- With hair partially dry, make sure you untangle the hair using first a regular antistatic brush and then a small comb. Hair must be completly untangled when you begin styling with the rotating hair brush.
- Split hair in as many sections as possible. isolate each section using a hair pin. Start from the back of the head toward the front going upwards. The thinner each section of hair, the better results you should expect.
